Mark prather || Mar 26"In Pursuit of the Truth”
Mark Prather will give a talk on “In Pursuit of the Truth” based on Mark’s lifetime decision to pursue and prove God's existence based on Jeremiah 29:13.
Mark was baptized Catholic, but grew up in an agnostic household not practicing the faith, and has since gone through a conversion. He became a devout believer and evangelist after experiencing what he believes are a series of miracles in his life. Today, as a member of Legatus International, Orange County chapter, Mark is committed to sharing his faith using the talents he has acquired after a lifetime in the real estate industry. He and fellow chapter member Ralph Linzmeier produce “Finding Your Way”, a Catholic radio/podcast program in which people tell stories of God acting in their lives. -

bishop alberto rojas || apr 2"The Jubilee Year of Hope”
Bishop Rojas will embolden us on our journey for this Jubilee Year of Hope with special emphasis on the "Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy" Bishop Rojas was ordained a priest in 1997 in Chicago and was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of the Chicago Archdiocese in 2011. Pope Francis appointed Bishop Rojas as the Coadjutor Bishop of San Bernardino in December of 2019 and he is now serving as the Third Ordinary Bishop of the Diocese of San Bernardino. Bishop Rojas has served on five committees of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. His motto is "Nos basta el amor de Dios - God's love is all we need."

Pope Francis has declared 2025 “The Jubilee Year of Hope”. To help us engage in this special year of grace, we will explore such questions as: What is Christian hope anyway? As Catholics how do we nourish a foundation of hope to call upon especially when life sends us to the wilderness of discouragement, doubt and fear?
Fr. Christopher Smith has served as a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange since 1978. He holds a master’s in divinity from St. John’s Seminary and a Master’s in Religious Education from Fordham University. He has served in several capacities in the Diocese of Orange, including Parochial Vicar, Director of the Office for Religious Education, Vicar for Religious Education, Pastor of St. Joseph Church in Santa Ana, Episcopal Vicar for Priests, and Director of the Ministry to Priests Office. He was the first Rector of Christ Cathedral and is now the Rector Emeritus. He hosts the radio program Cathedral Square broadcast every Saturday 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon on Relevant Radio AM1000, with podcasts of the shows available on the OC Catholic website. -
