The Legion of Mary is a world-wide organization. The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active cooperation in Mary's and the Church's work. It is a lay apostolic association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the Church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces, serve the Church and their neighbor on a voluntary basis. We serve people both in our parish and outside the parish including in homes, in a health care facility and in other public areas.
We have two types of members: Active and Auxilary. The active members attend weekly prayer meetings and do assigned works in service to others. The Auxiliary members do not attend meetings nor do active work, but they do prayers and 5 decades of the Holy Rosary for the intentions of our Blessed Mother.
